Overview

Francisco Mastropietro is a Brazilian qualified lawyer in the Litigation & Arbitration practice of Tauil & Chequer Advogados associated with Mayer Brown in Rio de Janeiro, currently seconded to the London office. With focus on civil and corporate law, he has extensive experience in arbitration and judicial disputes involving several industries, especially the construction and energy sectors, as well as in disputes arising from association agreements and M&A transactions. He has experience in arbitrations conducted before the main arbitration chambers in Brazil and worldwide, including ICC, LCIA, CAM/CCBC, and CMA/FIESP.

In addition, Francisco has also extensive experience in financing infrastructure projects, as well as in the legal structuring of transactions for fund raising purposes before financial institutions by private operators in Brazil.

Francisco graduated in 2013 from the Law School of the University of São Paulo.
