- Representing an Angolan company and its Brazilian subsidiary in lawsuits, as well as in Ciesp/Fiesp arbitration, in a complex dispute involving fiber optic leasing contracts.
- Represented Brazilian engineering corporations in lawsuits arising from a dispute regarding a bid for the public illumination of the city of São Paulo.
- Representing a Brazilian subsidiary of a Spanish corporation in the technology sector in lawsuits arising from a software supply agreement.
- Advised on the preparation of the CFO and CO of a multinational steel company for their participation as independent witnesses in an ICC arbitration involving an M&A contract. Brazilian law applied and English was the language of the proceeding.
- Advising a Malaysian oil company in an ICC arbitration, where the dispute concerns the payment of taxes related to oil exploration in Brazil. The language of the arbitration is Portuguese, and the seat is Rio de Janeiro.
- Representing an association of oil and gas companies in a constitutional lawsuit (“Ação Direta de Inconstitucionalidade”) before Brazil's Supreme Court, brought against a state law that regulates the natural gas market.
