Tauil & Chequer Advogados advises Itaú BBA on the BRL 400 million debenture issuance by EDP São Paulo

Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised Itaú BBA, as lead coordinator, in the structuring and execution of the public offering of debentures issued by EDP São Paulo, in the amount of R$ 400 million.

The proceeds will be used exclusively for the refinancing and extension of the company's average debt maturity and to strengthen its working capital.

The transaction was led by partner Luis Otero Montes and counsel Anna Gouvea, with the participation of associate Yasmin Rópa, all from the Banking and Finance practice.
