Tauil & Chequer Advogados advises Tellus on the acquisition of Grupo Pão de Açúcar's headquarters building for R$ 109 million

Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised Tellus, an investment manager focused on real estate assets, on the acquisition of the Grupo Pão de Açúcar (GPA) headquarters building, located on Brigadeiro Luís Antônio Avenue, in São Paulo, Brazil for approximately R$109 million in a Sale and Leaseback transaction.

As part of the transaction, the building was acquired by the Tellus Properties Real Estate Investment Fund and then fully leased to GPA, which will remain the building's occupant.
