Tauil & Chequer Advogados and Mayer Brown advised PRIO on the acquisition of Equinor’s 60 percent participating interest in the Peregrino and Pitangola fields, located in the Campos Basin, offshore Brazil. The transaction has a total consideration of approximately USD 3.5 billion and is subject to typical industry conditions precedent and approvals from governmental authorities, such as ANP and CADE.
