Ligia Melo is an associate in the Antitrust practice of Tauil & Chequer Advogados in the Brasília Office. She has experience in several topics of antitrust law, focusing on cartel and abuse of dominant position investigations, negotiation of leniency and settlement agreements with the Brazilian antitrust authority, antitrust litigation and internal investigations. Before joining the team, Ligia worked at the Administrative Council for Economic Defense – CADE, the Brazilian antitrust authority, for two years.
