Meg Ferreira is an associate in the Environmental practice of Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown in the Rio de Janeiro office. Throughout her career Meg has advised clients from a broad spectrum of industries—such as energy, mining, agribusiness, oil and gas, chemicals, and electronics—on a variety of environmental and regulatory matters, including permitting proceedings, compliance requirements, assessment and management of contaminated sites, environmental due diligence, liability management, and administrative litigation. She also has extensive experience in negotiation and settlement of agreements with governmental authorities, regulatory agencies, and private parties.
In addition, her practice covers legal and policy research and analysis on topics relating to climate change, energy efficiency, clean and renewable energy, and distributed energy resources.
