Overview

Fernanda Dalla Valle Martino is an associate in the Antitrust, Competition, International Trade and Government practice of Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown in the São Paulo office.

Fernanda has worked in traditional law firms in the competition area and has participated in several notifications of mergers and acquisitions and associative agreements to the Brazilian Competition Authority (CADE), investigations of anticompetitive conduct, including cartels and unilateral practices, negotiations of leniency and cease and desist agreements, judicial lawsuits involving competitions issues and preventive consultancy of competition aspects on merger and acquisitions.

In the international trade area, Fernanda has worked on antidumping processes before the Brazilian Department of Commercial Defense (DECOM). She participated in the exchange program (“Research Program in International Trade”) at the Mission of Brazil to the World Trade Organization and other Economic Organizations in Geneva in 2016, where she assisted with the disputes of Brazil at the WTO and trade committees meetings, including competition law and intellectual property issues. She has also been a researcher of the Releitura Project of WTO Agreements, coordinated by the Centre for Global Trade and Investment at Fundação Getúlio Vargas -SP.
