Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown acted as deal counsel in the structuring of the 4th issuance of debentures by Simpar, a Brazilian holding company which operates in the logistics and mobility sectors. The issuance was composed of a single series of 750,000 debentures, with a unit face value of R$ 1,000.00, totaling R$ 750,000,000.00, with the financial intermediation of Banco BTG Pactual. The funds raised will be used by the issuer to boost cash flow. The issuance was carried out by means of a public offering, under the terms of CVM Rule No. 476. The team was led by Capital Markets & Securitization partner Bruno Cerqueira and associate Flavia Biagiotti.
